Native American Ministries Sunday

Join us at 10:00am, as Melissa Miller leads us through our annual celebration of this special Native American Ministries Sunday. After worship, it will be bitter-sweet, as we honor Melissa and celebrate her and Mitch as they officially begin their transition into retirement.

United Methodists are called to recognize and honor the gifts and contributions made by Native Americans to our society, culture, and church, while affirming the sacredness of Indigenous peoples, their languages, their unique identities, their contributions to the world, and their lives. Contributions on this special Sunday help develop and strengthen Native American ministries within each United Methodist annual conference and provide scholarships for Native Americans pursuing ordained or licensed pastoral ministry.
