The questions asked of each new member are found in the United Methodist Hymnal and will be reviewed during this time together. On a designated Sunday morning, new members are asked to come before the congregation to be welcomed by the community. Exceptions will be made for those that find it too difficult to stand in front of a large group. We’d love for you to join us, but only when the time is right for you. Until then, we welcome you to enjoy exploring your journey of faith with us.
Become A Member
Membership is not necessary for participation in the life of the River Hills United Methodist Church. Membership is more about you than about us. When a person is ready to publicly proclaim that this is a community that they want to call their church home, simply make your desire known to the pastor, the office, or at the Welcome Desk on Sunday morning. New members are welcomed four times a year. The pastor invites persons that are exploring membership to gather together for an evening to learn a little about the church, its heritage, and to answer any questions that may be lingering.
